The real attraction of this park is the backdrop of Mount Kilimajaro.
This may also be the best park in Kenya to see elephant. Elephant
and giraffe are easily found, and watching them while they pass
in front of the majestic Mount Kilimajaro is a sight to behold.
Amboseli National Park is surrounded by a game reserve and together
cover 3260 square kilometre. Large herds of elephant and buffalo
are often seen around the swamps where it is easy to obtain photos
of animals in the foreground and Mount Kilimajaro in the background.
