Tena Tena
" Tena Tena Camp is altogether beyond superlatives, and must be one of the best safari camps in the whole of Africa", The Times, London.
This remote and small luxury tented camp (8 beds only) lies within the National Park and enjoys a stunning location on a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River.

Nsefu Camp
On a sweeping bend of the Luangwa river, 12 kilometers north of Tena Tena, lies Nsefu. Nsefu was the first photographic safari camp in Zambia and dates back to the early fifties. The Nsefu Sector was recognised then as a phenomenal area and it still is. The new camp was opened in 1999. The view of the river is superb and includes a terraced area where game grazes during the day.

Nkwali iver
Nkwali is located on private land, overlooking the National Park. The land is superb gameviewing country, with a beautiful area of ebony woodland and open grasslands. Elephants regularly cross the Luangwa, seen from the bar, or come to the waterhole near the thatched dining room.

Tafika
Tafika Camp in the South Luangwa National Park is nestled in the shade of giant Leadwood trees.
Open in both the dry season (May to Nov) and spectacular green season (Feb to April), it offers excellent game viewing by foot, open vehicle and micro light. The camp accommodates 10 guests in 5 spacious chalets. Situated just outside the Nsefu Sector of the South Park, Tafika is able to offer micro lighting as an optional extra to the excellent drives and walks of the routine day. The staff is mostly from Mkasanga Village nearby and welcome visits from guests fascinated by their un-materialistic way of life in this warm heart of Africa.

Chikoko & Crocodile Bush Camps
Chikoko Bush Camp is situated slightly upstream of Tafika on the opposite bank of the Luangwa in a wilderness area of great natural beauty teeming with big game. It was here that David Livingstone made his famous statement and little has changed since then. The area is exceptionally scenic, contains an abundance of wildlife and is unique in being designated a Wilderness Area. This means there are no roads and all game viewing is done on foot. The scene remains virtually unchanged since 17th December 1866 when David Livingstone crossed the Luangwa at 'Perekani', just a few hundred metres from Chikoko.

The Bush Camp Company
