The "Southern Circuit" of wildlife reserves includes Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National park. In the Selous Reserve you might get the feeling of being in the bush for the first time as yuo will not encounter many other tourists during your safari.

Ruaha is known for its great population of elephant, buffalo, greater and lesser kudu, hippo, crocodiles and magnificent scenery, is one of the countries newest and best National Parks. Ruaha's scenery is spectacular and is almost as large as the Serengeti National Park. Then best time to visit this park is during the dry season of June to September when game is concentrated slong the Ruaha River.
