Forest Lodge lies within 15 000 hectares of Phinda Private Game
Reserve (northern sector), in the Maputaland region of KwaZulu-Natal,
South Africa. Phinda neighbours the Greater St Lucia Wetland
Park to the east and is only 30km due west of the white-fringed
beaches of the Indian Ocean.
The 16 air conditioned glass chalets are built on stilts and
float gently between the rare sand forest floor below and towering
torchwood trees above.

KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Phinda neighbours the Greater St

consists of twin- bedded air conditioned chalets each with

Bay Lodge
Rocktail
Bay Lodge is situated in the northern reaches of the Greater
St Lucia Wetland Park, which has also been declared a World
Heritage Site. Situated offshore is the Maputaland Marine Reserve
which offers extraordinary diving and snorkelling encounters
with huge shoals of fish, dolphins and whales. The lodge is
situated meters inland from the warm Indian Ocean, and is built
within the forest canopy of vegetated dunes that occur along
Maputaland's coastline.

Wilderness Camp
Ndumo
Wilderness Camp, situated in the Maputaland region of northern
Natal, just south of the Moçambique border, is one of South
Africa's most superb safari camps. Time at Ndumo is mostly spent
on nature walks and drives through forests of fig trees and
the surrounding bush. Drives in open 4x4 vehicles around the
various scenic pans are a highlight, and boating along the waterways
is permitted, depending on water levels. Accommodation is in
the wilderness zone of the reserve, in an area not open to the
