Namibia is situated on the western side of southern Africa bordering the Atlantic Ocean on the west, South Africa to the south, Angola to the north, Botswana on the east and with a 'finger' of land called the Caprivi Strip, Namibia's neighbour on the north east is Zambia. Namibia is called 'the land of contrasts' with spectacular ever-changing scenery as you travel through the country on a Namibia lodge safari, camping trip, fly-in safari or self drive in Namibia.
Namibia has a superb range of National Parks, Game Reserves and Nature Reserves with Etosha in the north as the most famous. It offers spectacular wildlife encounters on game drives due to the unobstrusive scenery and low vegetation. Other places of interest are the Namib Desert, Swakopmund, Fish River Canyon, Damaraland, Kaokoland and Namib Naukluft. |
