A very popular itinerary combining the two best wildlife areas in Botswana, the Okavango Delta and the Moremi Game Reserve. This itinerary is unique because of the opportunity to travel between Camp Moremi and Camp Okavango by boat transfer - an unforgettable experience that takes you through the heart of the Delta.

DAY 1: MOREMI WILDLIFE RESERVE
Departing daily from Maun to Maun or Kasane to Kasane: On arrival at Maun/Kasane Airport you will be met by a safari Company representative and assisted on to a private air charter to Camp Moremi. Spend two nights at Camp Moremi on a fully inclusive basis. Camp Moremi accommodates guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs. Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway.
Each guest unit has its own private bathroom situated adjacent to the tent and located on the raised platform.

DAY 2: MOREMI
Enjoy a full day of morning and afternoon game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, excellent bird watching, exploring the Xakanaka Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by powerboat.

DAY 3: OKAVANGO DELTA
This morning you will be transferred by private speedboat to Camp Okavango, in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Spend two nights at Camp Okavango on a fully inclusive basis. Camp Okavango’s unashamed luxury blends with the Africa of yore in the elegant thatch and lethaka main lodge buildings. Meals are silver service at dining tables romantically lit by candle light. The dining room leads onto an expansive open-air patio for evenings around a blazing campfire. Other lodge facilities include a cocktail bar, lounge, wildlife reference library, a secluded bird-viewing hide, shaded hammocks, reading benches and a delightful sun-deck and plunge pool for relaxation during the hot midday hours. This afternoon explore the area on foot with one of our experienced guides or by traditional “mokoro,” (dug out canoe).

DAY 4: OKAVANGO DELTA
Enjoy a full day of morning and afternoon game activities in the incredible Okavango Delta. Enjoy a guided walk in the Delta, which will afford an opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness or ride in a traditional mokoro with one of our experienced guides for wildlife and bird watching expeditions. View many of the 600 species of birds found in this region.

DAY 5: SAFARI ENDS
After an early safari activity and breakfast, it’s time to return to Maun/Kasane Airport by light aircraft, where you will be met by a Safari Company representative to assist with your onward arrangements.

Best season:
Depending on what you would like to see and do, will dictate the best time of the year to visit Botswana. The winter months (May to August) are good for game viewing where the summer months (September to April) offer spectacular scenery and also the best birdlife as the migratory birds return from up north (central Africa and Europe) to breed in their thousands in specific places such as the Okavango Delta.
