The Namibia In Style safari travels with a maximum of seven guests in an air-conditioned safari vehicle, and accompanied by an expert safari guide throughout. All meals are included in the safari fare – from dinner on day one, to lunch on day eleven – as well as airport transfers at the beginning and end of the safari. Window seat guaranteed throughout.

DAY 1: WINDHOEK
Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako (Windhoek) Airport, you will be met and transferred to the Hotel Heinitzburg – an enchanting castle hotel combining 19th century charm with modern comforts. Spend the afternoon at leisure relaxing or swimming at the pool. Meet your safari guide at 18h00 in the lounge for pre-dinner drinks during which you will be briefed on general aspects of your safari.

DAYS 2 & 3: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Travel to Mushara Lodge situated only eight kilometres from the Von Lindequist Gate on the eastern outskirts of Etosha National Park – 22 270 square kilometres of countryside ranging from dense bush to barren plains. Spend your days visiting the numerous waterholes and subterranean springs at the Etosha Pan – known as the "Place of Dry Water" – which attracts a diversity of animals including springbok, zebra, gnu, giraffe, kudu and elephant. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the rest camps before returning to Mushara Lodge.

DAY 4: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Spend the day game-viewing in the Park on the way to Ongava – situated on the southwestern border of the Park, near the Andersson Gate. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

DAYS 5 & 6: DAMARALAND
Continue to the Etendeka concession – 45 000 hectares of rocky semi desert situated in the foothills of the Grootberg in the heart of Damaraland, home to black rhino, desert-adapted elephants, Hartmann’s mountain zebra, oryx, giraffe and several endemic bird species. Accommodation is at Etendeka Mountain Camp in shaded safari tents with en suite facilities. Enjoy guided nature walks, game-drives in an open Landrover, spectacular sunsets from the escarpment, and star gazing. The allure of Etendeka is its relaxed atmosphere, wide-open spaces and pristine wilderness.

DAY 7: DAMARALAND
Enter the southern reaches of Damaraland between the Huab and Ugab rivers where you will spend an overnight in luxury tents at Mowani Mountain Camp – nestled amongst massive red granite boulders. Named from the Swahili word M’wane "Place of God", the camp provides unsurpassed views over the vast wilderness comprising a unique variety of desert flora and fauna, fascinating geological formations and archaeological sites. After lunch, visit Twyfelfontein famous for its wealth of rock engravings and paintings, the Organ Pipes, a geological curiosity of perpendicular dolomite pillars roughly 100m long and up to 5m in height and the Burnt Mountain (Verbrandeberg). Return to the camp for sundowners and an excellent three-course dinner in front of an open fire.

DAY 8: SWAKOPMUND
Travel in a southerly direction via the mining town of Uis to Cape Cross – home to more than 80 000 Cape Fur Seals – where the Portuguese seafarer Diego Cao became the first European to set foot on Namibian soil in 1486. Enjoy an overnight stay at the four-star Swakopmund Hotel & Entertainment Centre.

DAYS 9 & 10: NAMIB DESERT
Continue via the Kuiseb to Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge, situated in the heart of the Namib Desert on the NamibRand Nature Reserve – one of the largest in Africa comprising 180 000 hectares of wilderness.
NamibRand is renowned for its captivating beauty and diverse landscape, which changes from expansive gravel plains to undulating dune seas, rugged canyons with towering walls of volcanic rock and distant mountain ranges. During your stay at Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge in luxury air-conditioned desert villas, you will visit the highest dunes in the world at nearby Sossusvlei. Explore the environment’s desert-adapted flora and fauna on guided nature walks and hiking trails, and experience the dunes on All Terrain Vehicles with an experienced guide. At night, discover the magnificence of the desert sky from the Lodge’s sophisticated observatory.
