Day 1 and 2: Windhoek - Sesriem
Transfer from your hotel in Windhoek to Eros Airport. Charter
flight to Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge. Tucked into a remote corner
of the great Namib Desert, Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge offers
guests an unforgettable wilderness experience. The main lodge
comprises a split-level lounge, fire-lit bar, walkin wine cellar,
terrace, viewing deck, curio shop, a CD/book library and a spacious
dining room. On day 2, enjoy a diverse range of activities including
exhilarating game drives, quadbiking excursions (all-terrain
four-wheeled motorcycle), interpretative wilderness walks, stargazing
or a Sossusvlei day excursion.

Day 3: Swakopmund
Transfer to the airstrip for a scenic flight over Conception
Bay to Swakopmund and over the forbidden Diamond area where
remains of old diamond camps and shipwrecks can still be seen.
Transfer to the Swakopmund Hotel on arrival. Located in the
coastal town of Swakopmund, this luxurious four-star hotel is
built in and around the beautifully restored Old Station Building,
dating back to 1901. Two restaurants, a swimming pool, tennis
courts, cinema, gymnasium, casino and children's game room are
part of the numerous amenities.

Day 4: Swakopmund
The morning transfer to Walvis Bay for a Marine Cruise provides
you with a glimpse of Namibia's only deep-sea harbour, encounter
aquatic birds and Cape Fur Seals and the opportunity of sighting
Bottlenose and Heavy-side Dolphins, the latter a species endemic
to the coast of south-western Africa. Namibian Oysters, counted
amongst the best in the world, canapés and chilled sparkling
wine from South Africa as well as soft drinks are served on
board during this leisurely cruise. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure
in Swakopmund.
Overnight Swakopmund (Swakopmund Hotel) – bed and breakfast
basis
Day 5 and 6: Caprivi
Transfer from Swakopmund Hotel to the airport for the direct
charter flight to Susuwe Island Lodge remotely situated at the
Kwando River - a permanent water source, which nourishes delicate
ecosystems and sustains varied game and birdlife. Guided game
drives, river cruises, walks and night drives are amongst the
activities offered. Game sightings in this cradle of rivers
could include vast herds of roaming elephant and buffalo, lion,
hippo, leopard, sable, roan, lechwe and puku. Night drives at
Susuwe offer an even closer insight into the intrigue of the
African bush. Outstanding bird watching in this area in a variety
of riverine, floodplain and grassland habitats. Boating, nature
walks and picnics or infinite relaxation in the cool respite
of Susuwe Island Lodge are all possible.

Day
7: Windhoek
Transfer
from the lodge to the airstrip for your return flight to Windhoek.
Upon arrival in Windhoek, transfer to your hotel.

for special interest travelers:
- Birding is best during the summer months (Nov - April) because
of the greater variety of species to be found.
- Botanical season is from December to May when most plants
are in flower.
- Photography is excellent in August and September with cloud
build-up in the afternoon that offers spectacular scenes.
