THE HIGHLIGHTS: The Limpopo Adventure includes the
“BIG FIVE” of Kruger National Park (oldest game
park in Africa), the friendly tribal people of the Kingdom of
Swaziland. The exotic tropical beaches of Moçambique
with their white sands and azure blue seas, offering wonderful
opportunities to dive the exotic reefs and swim with the likes
of dolphins, turtles and whale sharks.
ITINERARY:

DAY
1: JOHANNESBURG – SWAZILAND GAME RESERVE
We depart at 06h30 from the Randburg Towers in Randburg, north
of Johannesburg, and travel to the Kingdom of Swaziland. The
smallest country in the southern hemisphere, this monarchy,
is known for its friendly people and beautiful traditional crafts.
We stay in a Game Reserve, part of a conservation plan initiated
and overseen by the king himself. (All meals).
DAY
2: PRAIA DO BILENE – MOZAMBIQUE
We cross the border into Moçambique, to our camp under
an expansive canopy of shady trees alongside the Bilene lagoons.
We relax and explore the small town nearby. (All meals).
DAY
3/4: PRAIA DE MORRUNGULO - MOZAMBIQUE
We travel further north past numerous local fishing villages,
lagoons and beautiful scenery. The campsite under coconut palms,
is located near a wide, deserted beach, allowing us to swim
in the warm waters of the bay. Several optional excursions such
as snorkelling and diving are available. (All meals).
DAY
5/6: BARRA REEF - MOZAMBIQUE
We pass through Inhambane, one of Moçambique’s
oldest and most charming towns with its picturesque dhows, before
reaching the beautiful beaches of Barra. Our camp next to the
azure ocean is set amid sand dunes and palm groves, and offers
many optional excursions including diving and snorkelling. (All
meals).
DAY
7: CASA LISA - MOZAMBIQUE
Retracing our steps southwards, the colourful and vibrant local
markets, the social and economic hub of life in the towns and
villages, provide the visitor with an insight into the richness
of local culture. Our camp at Casa Lisa is situated north of
Maputo. (All meals).
DAY
8/9/10: SAFARI IN KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
We travel to the famous wildlife sanctuary of the Kruger National
Park, one of the oldest game reserves in Africa, where we spend
our time exploring the park on early morning and late afternoon
game drives observing numerous species of animals and birds.
We relax in camp during mid day. (All meals).
DAY
11: JOHANNESBURG
We return to the Randburg Towers, Johannesburg at +-16h00. (Breakfast
and lunch).
This
itinerary will depend on local conditions.

Group Size: 8 - 16 participants.
Sleeping Bag Hire: €11 per week - must
be booked in advance.
Transfers: (Transfers in Johannesburg (+-€45

over 55 years.
