THE KRUGER EXPLORER
4 nights & 5 days discovering the kruger

safari cost  ·  best season  ·  activities  ·  map of safari

Remote regions of the Kruger National Park are visited on this safari to ensure an experience of a lifetime. The highest standards that a tented safari can offer are upheld in this upmarket-tented safari camp within the Kruger National Park.

The Camp
The camp is fully serviced in all aspects. The camp is fully prepared and our resident camp chef caters for all cooking. Polite and friendly staffs do their utmost, so that all you have to do is to enjoy yourself.

The camp consists of five two-bedded East African safari tents. Each tent is equipped with: two single beds, mattresses, all linen, and a bedside table with mirror, flashlight, candles and insect repellent. A carpet and mosquito netting provide further home comforts. The back section of the tent consists of a “dressing” table with basin and mug, a canvas washbasin, en suite shower and lastly, a chemical flush toilet.

A mobile kitchen and a huge mess tent are fully equipped to provide scrumptious South African cuisine, under any conditions. Campfires are lit every night and the beauty of the southern hemisphere night sky is complemented with the calls and roars of night prowlers. At night after every one has gone to bed, an electrical trail fence provides for safety and a peaceful sleep.

Catering and camp infrastructures are excellent.

A day on safari
A typical day starts with an early wake up call, which is determined by the seasons and prevailing weather.

Each tent is fully serviced and warm/cold water provided for morning routine. After a breakfast, consisting of cereals, hot porridge, fresh fruits, yoghurts, rusks, tea / coffee and home baked bread rolls, set off in an open game viewing vehicle to discover the wildlife that the Kruger National Park has to offer. The most qualified and highly experienced guides in the industry conduct our guided excursions. Not only is the security of our guests a priority, but also those of the animals encountered.

Lunch is enjoyed back in camp or in the bushveld of the Kruger National Park.

Late afternoon, set off again and as the sunsets, spotlights are used with great consideration for wildlife and their safety. A three-course dinner, including good South African wine, is provided by our top chef and served around the campfire.

Daily activities provide the perfect opportunity for a person who likes a bit of adventure. We strive to achieve an element of fun, whilst our guests experience days and nights filled with wonder.

We will also present one guided bush walk of approximately 3 hours during the course of your stay. Guest who wish to walk more often are welcome to request this option
