SAFARI ITINERARY:
DAY 1/2 : THE OKAVANGO DELTA
Upon
your arrival at Maun Airport you are met by a representative of
The Safari Company and assisted onto a scheduled charter flight
to Camp Okavango. All game-viewing activities are conducted by
experienced resident naturalist guides and include exploring the
Okavango by canoe (mokoro) and motorboat. Guided nature walks
on the various islands afford an opportunity to track some of
the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness.
DAY 3/4 : SAVUTE
Scheduled charter flight from Camp Okavango to Savute Airstrip.
Safari Activities as offered by Savute Safari Lodge include game
drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles in the Savute area, including
the Savute Marsh and a visit to the ancient San rock paintings
at Gubatsa Hills.
DAY 5/6 : CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Scheduled charter flight from Savute Airstrip to Kasane Airport.
Upon your arrival at Kasane Airport you are met by a Representative
of Chobe Game Lodge and transferred by road to the Lodge. Activities
at Chobe Game Lodge include game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle,
walking in the nearby Kasane Forests, game viewing by small boat
or sunset cruises on the Chobe River. Slide presentations, stargazing
and garden walks are also offered by our resident professional
guides.

DAY 7: SAFARI ENDS
Scheduled road transfer from the lodge to Kasane (additional
cost of US$ 65 to Victoria Falls).

Best season:
Depending on what you would like to see and do, will dictate
the best time of the year to visit Botswana. The winter months
(May to August) are good for game viewing where the summer months
(September to April) offer spectacular scenery and also the
best birdlife as the migratory birds return from up north (central
Africa and Europe) to breed in their thousands in specific places
such as the Okavango Delta.
