We have been promoting Africa on the internet for the past 12 years and have managed to create a bit of a following by local, regional and international travelers interested in African safaris and related tourism services. Whenever someone searches for Africa travel related information and services online, they will find The Safari Co. We also have a database of keen travelers that will receive your specials and discounts, as well as regular updates on all things Africa from The Safari Co.

Why do you limit the number of profiles in each category?
 
We limit the number of profiles per category on The Safari Co., specifically for the benefit of all our members. This ensures an exclusivity and a high level of exposure which translates into more bookings for every member of The Safari Co.

If a category is full, your application will be placed on a waiting list and we'll advise you as soon as space becomes available.
 
 
 
 
 
Why do you charge in US$?
   
The Safari Co. covers 15 countries across southern and east Africa as well as the Indian Ocean Islands, each with its own currency. Due to the number of currencies, we have to feature our prices in one commonly used and accepted international currency which in this case is the US$. Thus, our advertising is quoted in US$.

If you pay online by credit card, the amount reflected on your bank statement will be in your local currency. The online payment process is secure and safe. Learn more about our online security.
 
   
 
 
 
Are you using social media marketing to promote us?
 
We use Facebook, Twitter and Google+ to keep travelers up to date with what's going on in Africa travel! We also have a YouTube Channel and upload videos from around Africa. As a Safari Co. member you are welcome to send us updates, specials, photos and videos which we will post and link to your profile. How do I renew my listing?
   
  You're subscription is on a month-to-month basis, so no renewal is required. All payments are done through PayPal, one of the world's most trusted online payment gateways. It's easy and secure. Just ensure that you update your credit card details when your existing card expires.

If you paid by bank transfer or cheque, you will be sent an email to notify you.

If you wish to change your credit card billing details to be charged or if your credit card information otherwise changes, please log in to your PayPal account or contact our Ad Support Team to make the neccessary changes to your credit card information.
   
 
 
 
 
Can I make changes or add to the basic profile page layout?
   
  You can change the content whenever you like, but not the layout of your profile. Our profile templates are set up in a carefully designed format to display your company information in a consistent, user friendly design for ease of navigation. Descriptions, rates, headings and photos appear in the same place for every listing, so travelers can access the information quickly and conveniently.

The Safari Co. website is developed to meet the highest usability standards and constantly improves our site structure to offer travelers the most convenient browsing experience.
   
 
 
 
 
Can I feature two or more businesses on my profile?
   
  The Safari Co. does not accept more than one business per profile. The only exception is if you have more than one business and the additional business is similar and on the same property, you may advertise them on the same page. If they are on separate properties and/or different business types, you'll have to register profiles for each of your businesses. Our profile layouts differ from category to category and our search functions are specifically designed around categories.

If you own more than one business in the same town/ suburb, you need to advertise each property you own separately. We might not be able to accept all your business listings but please disclose other business interests to us.
   
 
 
 
 
Can I include my personal business website on my profile?
   
  Yes, you can include a link to your personal business website, provided you place a link on your website's homepage to The Safari Co.

Our Ad Support Team will provide you with the html code for the link. Once you've uploaded the link to The Safari Co., we'll approve it and then add a link to your website from your profile.

An even better option is to add a Safari Co. Member badge to your website. Our Ad Support Team will assist with the code for this.
   
 
 
 
 
How can I accept online credit card payments for my services?
   
  Credit cards are a convenient way to collect deposits, confirm bookings and improve your cash flow. The Safari Co.'s web development division specialises in implemetation of online payment gateways. Please contact our Ad Support Team for assistance.
   
 
 
 
 
What is a 'Special Offer'?
   
  A Special Offer is a limited-time advertisement to promote your rate discount or a deal on extra services. Many advertisers run a Special Offer when they want to fill up space last-minute due to a cancellation or to promote availability in the off-season when business is slow.
