Itinerary:
DAY 1: Nairobi - Selenkay Conservation Area (approx 3 - 3.5 hrs drive)
Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta Airport or your town hotel. You will be met by our representative. Transfer (in a minibus or 4 x 4 depending upon availability) to Selenkay Conservation Area, bordering Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will go on a game drive to explore the Conservation Area ending with a sundowner on Olosinkiran Hill. Return to camp for a shower, dinner and overnight in PORINI CAMP.

DAY 2: Selenkay Conservation Area
After an early breakfast, we drive through the bush on a private track into Amboseli National Park for a full morning, returning for lunch to the Camp. In the afternoon you will be escorted on a walk by Maasai trackers and a guide, who will give you an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. Return to camp for dinner followed by a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared foxes, African wild cats, and maybe even the elusive leopard. Overnight at PORINI CAMP.

DAY 3: Selenkay Conservation - Nairobi
Morning game drive in the Conservation Area followed by a brunch and then depart for your road through the city of Nairobi, on to Kentmere Club, situated approx. 35 kms outside. Drive through green, luscious coffee / tea plantations and arrive at Kentmere Club, an old British Colonial Club surrounded by tropical gardens. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. Dinner and overnight at KENTMERE CLUB.

DAY 4: Nairobi - Malewa Conservancy (approx 2 hrs drive)
After breakfast we drive (in a 4 x 4 landrover / landcruiser) through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley (with a stop at viewpoint) to Kigio Wildlife Sanctuary. After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Game drive in the park to view thousands of flamingos, an ornithological paradise unique in this part of Africa. Best season:
Kenya is a year round destination with excellent game viewing. One of Kenya’s greatest attractions is the annual wildebeest migration between Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya between June and September. Peak season is from January to March when the weather is hot and dry. This is the most comfortable time for travelling. It is good for bird viewing on the Rift Valley lakes and game viewing is also best at this time. April – June and October – December are less popular times (this means no crowds!) for visiting Kenya as these are the months when Kenya receives its rain. You will still be able to get around easily during the rainy season.

Extend your safari:
-to Mombasa's tropical beaches
