The Gorge Private Game Lodge & Spa has been carefully positioned to overlook 550ha of Oribi Flats prime land on the escarpment of the Oribi Nature Reserve with kilometers of awe-inspiring views of the world famous Oribi Gorge. The GPS co-ordinates are 30º 42' 56.40" S and 30º 12' 41.60" E . The original farm has been the pride and joy of the Classen family since 1966. The area is safe and malaria free.
Travel on the N2 south towards Port Shepstone (aprox 60 min drive)
Take the off ramp at the Oribi Toll Plaza (keep left)
Turn right at the top of the off ramp and travel on the N2 towards Harding/Kokstad for 10km
Turn right at the sign that reads Oribi Flats East
Then drive for 22km past the Dwala Cement/Lime factory and St Martin's orphanage
Proceed down the hill and turn left onto the district road D251 (it is a gravel road)
Continue on this road for 2km and turn left into The Gorge.
Travel on the N2 south towards Port Shepstone (aprox 60 min drive)
Take the off ramp at the Oribi Toll Plaza (keep left)
Turn right at the top of the off ramp and travel on the N2 towards Harding/Kokstad for 10km
Turn right at the sign that reads Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve
Then drive through the scenic gorge over the Mzimkulwana River for 9km
At the T-junction turn left and continue pass St Martin's Orphanage
Proceed down the hill and turn left onto the district road D251 (it is a gravel road)
Continue on this road for 2km and turn left into The Gorge.
Approximately 25km from Harding turn left at the sign Oribi Flats West (it is a gravel road)
Travel for 20km and turn right onto the district road D251 (it is a gravel road)
Continue on this road for 2km and turn left into The Gorge.
Travel for a further 20km from the Oribi Flats West turn-off
Turn left at the sign that reads Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve
Then drive through the scenic gorge over the Mzimkulwana River for 9km
At the T-junction turn left and continue pass St Martin's Orphanage
Proceed down the hill and turn left onto the district road D251 (it is a gravel road)
Continue on this road for 2km and turn left into The Gorge.
