Day 2: Waterberg

The Waterberg Plateau towers 400 meters above the surrounding plains, and 1878 meters above sea level, dominating the landscape for miles around. Waterberg was the site of one of the major turning points in Namibia’s history, on the foothills, that the Herero people lost their last and greatest battle against the German Colonial forces at the beginning of the century. In the afternoon we climb up the plateau and enjoy the amazing view. Standard Mobile Safari (All meals)

Day 3/4/5: Etosha National Park

This Park is one of the most important reserves and game sanctuaries in Africa. Thousands of wild animals are attracted to the area, including lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, elephant, zebra giraffe and several species of antelope. The birdlife is prolific with 326 recorded species. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are enjoyed with the evenings spent watching an amazing diversity of animals around the floodlit waterhole bordering our campsites. Standard Mobile Safari (All meals)

We visit a Himba village to gain a glimpse into their way of life. The Himbas are a semi-nomadic tribe, who live in scattered settlements throughout the region.  Standard Mobile Safari (All meals)

Day 7: Palmwag

Palmwag is a paradise located on the Uniab River in north-western Namibia.  In the concession area around Palmweg Lodge there are large populations of Hartman's Mountain Zebra, giraffe, oryx, springbok and kudu. The predator population is the largest outside of the Etosha National Park, with over 100 lions, cheetah, leopard, brown and spotted hyena. Bird life is prolific and diverse with most of Namibia's endemics present. This concession supports a healthy population of desert adapted black rhino and elephants, under the management of the Save the Rhino Trust. We enjoy an afternoon walk in this amazing place.  Standard Mobile Safari (All meals)

Day 8: Damaraland - Twyfelfontein - Brandberg

Travelling through Damaraland we reach the coast. Swakopmund, with its quaint Bavarian style architecture, is the principal coastal resort of Namibia.
