After Breakfast, drive through the country and through the floor of the great Rift Valley to the world famous Mara Game Reserve. You will have lunch before proceeding with a game viewing drive through the mara to end up at the Mara Simba Lodge, a luxurious lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night.
At this reserve you have an array of about 450 species of animals to see which inhabit the reserve all year round. And during the migration crossing in June/July, you have a chance to spectate at the seventh wonder of the new world as the millions of ungulates crossing from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Mara.

With the diverse and numerous number of game, you will need atleast another day to view most of them. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve. You will have lunch and dinner at the Mara Simba Lodge or the Mara Sopa Lodge where you will also spend the night.

Having enjoyed the joys and thrills of watching the animals, wake up to breakfast and get packed and ready to move on. At 0830 hrs you will travel by road to the spectacular Lake Nakuru which is considered the best bird spectacle location in the world. Lined with thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos, Lake Nakuru is an experience that will leave you awed. Here, you will have lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
You will also visit the rhino sanctuary where you will see the endangered rhino and the rothschild giraffe. There is an abundance of buffaloes at the Lake Nakuru National Park as well as lions and leopards. Dinner will be at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge and also where you will spend the night.

After breakfast at the Lake Nakuru National Park, depart for the Abedares in Central Kenya to arrive at the Outspan Hotel just in time for Lunch. From there, you will be transferred to the newly renovated Treetops Lodge, one of the 4 tree lodges in Kenya. It is famously remembered as the place where Queen Elizabeth went up a princess and came down a queen.
This lodge will give you unique opportunities to view the wildlife from the comfort of your room as they come to eat and drink at the waterholes next to the lodge. You might also get a chance to visit the spectacular Thompson falls. An incredible 73m plunge of water that has fascinated many....visitors and locals alike.
Dinner and overnight will be at the treetops lodge.

After breakfast, you will be driven to the Thorn Tree Restaurant in Nairobi. From there, you will proceed south to the second most popular destination in Kenys, the Amboseli National Park. On arrival, you will check in to the Amboseli Sopa Lodge for dinner and spend the night there.

You will have an early morning drive where you get to see game that is not usually visible in the day. Breakfast will be served and you can spend the morning relaxing and taking in the surrounding. After lunch is served, there will be an afternoon game drive. This is the perfect chance to see the largest land mammals, the African Elephant and the rest of the big five. Enjoy the spectacular view of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro which lies on the Tanzanian side of the landscapes.
Dinner and overnight will be at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge

After breakfast, you will depart Amboseli at 0800hrs to drive through the Namanga border to arrive in Arusha, Tanzania in time for Lunch. Having had lunch, you will visit the Lake Manyara National Park where you will visit the 'loveliest lake in Africa' as Ernest Hemingway described it. Lake Manyara is a shallow soda lake that is host to thousands of flamingos during the wet season. A wide variety of wildlife is abundant in the park including the incredibly rare tree-climbing lions, giraffes, hippos, zebras among others.

After breakfast, you will proceed to the world famous Serengeti National Reserve, the mother of all game parks. On arrival, you will have lunch at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge before having an afternoon game drive. You will then have dinner and spend the night at the same lodge.

Serengeti being the largest National Park in Africa, deserves ample time to be explored and discovered. So this day is all about discovering this expansive park. Early morning game drive will be the first order of business before returning for breakfast. Enjoy the warm african morning relaxing and then have lunch.
The afternoon drive will give you a chance to see a lot of the big cats, the critically endangered black rhino among others. Ofcourse there are the ungulates that make up the great migration. You might even get a chance to witness the migration depending on the time of the year. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Having had breakfast, you will be driven to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area during which you will see a variety of wildlife on the way there. You will have lunch at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge and you can spend the afternoon relaxing and getting used to the stunning surrounding. Dinner and overnight will be at the same lodge.

After breakfast, you get to descend into the largest intact caldera in the world, an experience in itself. You will have with you picnic lunches to ensure that your safari experience is not interrupted. With the densest predator population in Africa, this crater will offer you the best game viewing experience and the perfect end to the most amazing safari.
From seeing all the big five, zebras, wildebeest, lots of bird life, explore the Olduvai Gorge where the oldest hominid remains were found. A location where a link was established to our ancestors.

Enjoy breakfast and drive back to Arusha for lunch. A shuttle bus will be waiting to take you back to Nairobi where you will be dropped at the Panafric Hotel. A farewell dinner will be held at the carnivore restaurant which is known for its variety of game meat. You can eat as much as you like and trade stories of your experience. The perfect way to end you exciting African Safari.
You will be later transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home. |
