Velvet Sky will soon be adding Durban/Port Elizabeth/Cape Town to their routes. South Africa’s newest low-cost carrier launched in March 2011 and have grown from strength to strength.
The latest route will start operating early November and will add 19 additional flights per week to the existing scheduled flights offered by Velvet Sky.

In addition to introducing this new coastal route, Velvet Sky has increased scheduled flight frequency between Johannesburg and Cape Town to 7 flights per day on high demand days and introduced a Durban overnight flight. The low-cost airline is gearing up for the busy summer holiday period by doubling its Saturday flights and changing some flight timings to fit better with holiday travelers.
