Male lions defend their territory by roaring in the night
Location: Okavango Delta, Botswana Duration: 2.36 mins Published: 14 April, 2008
Description:
Two male lions re establish their territory by roaring from around 1am to sunrise, moving along their boundaries establishing their presence. We believe that Gochathebe, the island in the Okavango Delta in Botswana
where we are currently based, is an overlapping territory for different
lion prides.
