Tambuzi Mobile Camping Safaris is designed for the young and old who want to enjoy the great outdoors of the African Wilderness. Age is not a criterion, but what is needed is the spirit for adventure and a good sense of humor. A camping safari never lets you forget that you are in the wild. The romance of canvas, with big night sounds and flickering lanterns lighting the campgrounds, mingles with the simple sophistication of the wilderness terrain.

To experience Africa at its most authentic and wild, it is hard to beat a mobile camping safari. Our tented camps have a low environmental impact and offer a true African safari feeling. The beautiful accommodations and scenery are secondary to the art of service and wildlife experiences that we share with fellow travelers from all walks of life. Tambuzi offers three choices in mobile camping safaris: Semi-luxury camping, Budget/ Back packer camping and Combination camping. Tambuzi provides round-trip shuttle transport to certain international airports. Some guests prefer air transport using a charter flight that flies them closer to surrounding airports. This route of travel avoids the long drives in order to have more time spent on the actual safari.

Tambuzi is privately owned and operated by South African directors who possess a hands-on philosophy. By offering smaller safaris, we are able to provide each client with more personalized service and individual attention.
