2014 this itinerary can depart any day of the year. |
Meet at arrival point and transfer to your lodge for pre-safari briefing. KARAMA LODGE (Dinner) |
After a delicious breakfast at the lodge, we set off in the direction of Tarangire National Park via the colour craft markets of East Africa. We set off game driving for the afternoon. We return to our private camp on sunset which provides us with a classic bush experience that ensures intimacy. NASIKIA NJIWA CAMP (Jul-Oct) or MARAMBOI TENTED CAMP (Nov-Jun) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) |
An optional early morning walk starts our adventure today. Tarangire is home to an array of wildlife and this unique opportunity to view animal behaviours and natural habitats is exclusive tour camp. We return for a hearty breakfast before heading off to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Entering the Crater for an afternoon Game Drive is a spectacular way to end of day, and return to the crater rim for overnight NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) |
We depart after breakfast to the endless plains of the Serengeti. Upon entering the Serengeti, we are able to game drive all the way to our mobile camp that is situated in the prime game areas (location depending on season). We enjoy an excellent lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. NASIKIA MOBILE CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) |
We enjoy this unspoilt area where the viewing of the Wildebeest Migration is second to none for most of the year. Our camp has the intimacy as it is one of the only tented camps in the area and so habitats are natural. There are resident cats and herd animals for us to observe. NASIKIA MOBILE CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) |
We enjoy an early morning game drive, followed by lunch and resting before setting off for an afternoon of wildlife viewing as the sunsets. NASIKIA MOBILE CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) |
We transfer out of the Serengeti, passing through Oldupai Gorge. We enjoy lunch and a view of the archaeological sites (and visit the museum) where early human tools and fossils have been found. Transfer onto Lake Manyara for overnight. MANYARA WILDLIFE SAFARI CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) |
We transfer into Lake Manyara for morning game drive and lunch, a classic safari picnic, and enjoy our final glimpse of the great wilds of the Northern Tanzania. Lake Manyara offers an insight into the Great Rift Valley system and the adaptation of many herd animals and magnificent birdlife. We continue Esilalei Maasai Village to explore the area and our school project. You are then transferred to Arusha and your departure point or lodge (Breakfast, lunch) |
