Our safari begins by passing through the town centre of Arusha and witnessing the sights and sounds of a colourful and bustling African city. We depart the city from the south west in the direction of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara at the base of an escarpment. Lunch en-route prepares for our tribal introduction followed by an afternoon game drive within the park and then climbing into the Crater Highlands for overnight. We descend into the Crater after breakfast for a fascinating array of resident mammals. With several different habitats, Ngorongoro Crater can offer extensive viewing within this 22 square kilometre fishbowl.
