My initial thoughts were that it should be a nice addition to our map books, but the ease of use and comprehensive (but still easy to find) information on the actual routes and the destinations covered made me decide that this is a keeper! Every route is carefully laid out with a detailed map (including GPS waypoints that works well with the digital GPS compatible maps included on the CD), helpful rating systems indicating the appeal, a self sufficiency rating, if a route is appropriate for families and if you can tow a trailer. It also shows the best time to travel, daily driving distances, vehicle requirements, general warnings, specific kit requirements and essentials, all neatly laid out in easy to find blocks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thesafaricompany.co.za\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/image2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1068\" title=\"image2\" src=\"https:\/\/thesafaricompany.co.za\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/image2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"639\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thesafaricompany.co.za\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/image2.jpg 639w, https:\/\/thesafaricompany.co.za\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/image2-300x187.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 639px) 100vw, 639px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Detailed suggested day to day itineraries make it easy to plan a trip.
